Modern ways to build wealth
Clear thinking on Indian equities, US equities and Bitcoin, from someone who spent eight years inside the asset and wealth management industry.
Three areas I focus on
A modern portfolio can reach well beyond fixed deposits and a few mutual funds. These are the three areas I study and write about most.
Indian equities
The backbone of long-term wealth for most Indian families. I focus on what a business is really worth, and on staying invested through good markets and bad.
US equities
A way to own some of the world's largest companies and add a second currency to your savings. Indian residents can invest abroad through the Liberalised Remittance Scheme, which comes with its own tax rules.
Bitcoin
A newer and very volatile asset that I study closely. I write about how it works, where it might fit in a portfolio, and the real risks involved. It is not regulated by SEBI.
The ideas behind the approach
Good investing is more than picking what to buy. These three ideas run through everything I share.
-
Keep more of what you earn
Tax can quietly eat into returns. Thoughtful structuring of family savings and investments, done within the law, can make a real difference over time.
-
Make every rupee work, with risk in mind
Whether you invest through a monthly SIP or a lump sum, the goal is sensible growth for the level of risk you take, with a clear reason behind each allocation.
-
Have a plan for every market mood
Markets swing between fear and excitement. A plan made in calm times helps you act sensibly when headlines get loud, in either direction.
